Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace is with you. Despite the hot summer weather, we already hear news of fall at the North Korean Defectors' Center. Ears of rice are starting to emerge, and peaches and apples are ripening. God's time is always a fruitful life like this.
We are prepared to take on the difficult task of rescuing North Korean defectors. However, we could not start two weeks ago because of the deteriorating situation in China. The defectors are eager to find freedom but also frightened by the news of other defectors' arrests.
In North Korea, many people struggle with hunger. Some try to cross into China, thinking, "I may starve to death here, but if I get caught while escaping, I will die as well. Nevertheless, I'm willing to take my chances and cross into China, hoping for a better life." However, they also need to escape from China to achieve true freedom.
Please have empathy for North Korean defectors who are trying to escape because they cannot survive in China. Please pray for them so that they can live their lives and have a precious encounter with Jesus Christ.
North Korean defectors in Southeast Asia are studying the Bible to learn about God. Defectors in Korea participate in retreats and study the Bible to become sincere Christians.
All of this works in conjunction with your prayers for good. I urge you to pray and collaborate in this endeavor for the sake of the Gospel.
I am preparing for the Unify Korea Summit at Liberty University in the United States next month. Please pray that God will guide us throughout the entire journey.
We're currently receiving many rescue requests in China, primarily from North Korean defector women with children. Our Southeast Asia center lacks the resources for the children to stay comfortably. Many defectors experience health problems due to their extreme situations, which makes it challenging for them to access proper medical care.
Despite challenges, we look forward to being unified through the gospel. Please pray with us toward that goal.

1. Heavenly Father, please bring liberation to North Korea and end the conflicts between Ukraine and Russia, as well as Israel and Palestine, through Your ways. May they heal each other's wounds through the gospel.
2. Lord, please help rescued North Korean defectors find faith and become leaders of gospel ministry.
3. God, please anoint the leaders of Caleb Mission to use their talents to rescue North Korean defectors and spread the gospel. In Jesus' Name, Amen
